World Health Day is coming up on 7 April 2026, and this year\u2019s theme, \u201cTogether for\u00a0Science\u201d is the perfect opportunity to spark curiosity in the language classroom.<\/strong> The campaign encourages people around the world to recognise the power of science and collaboration in protecting the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.<\/span><\/p>\n

While major global events such as the International One Health Summit will bring scientists together on a huge scale, teachers and students can take part too. This year\u2019s message invites everyone to celebrate scientific achievements, explore evidence\u2011based thinking, and understand how science shapes a safer, healthier future.<\/span><\/p>\n

To support this,\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0created a set of engaging language\u2011learning resources that bring science to life through French\u00a0and\u00a0Spanish. These are perfect for KS3 students, as they combine new vocabulary, use of inference skills, and photo description tasks. There are also\u00a0accompanying\u00a0vocab sets on\u00a0Languagenut\u00a0that can be used in class or for homework.<\/span><\/p>\n
