The \u201c13 Desserts\u201d of Provence<\/b> (les 13 desserts de No\u00ebl<\/b>) are a traditional part of a Proven\u00e7al Christmas celebration. They are meant to symbolize Christ and the 12 apostles<\/b> (hence 13 items) and showcase local seasonal products. The list can vary slightly depending on the family and village, but there are common staples.<\/span><\/p>\n
