With this Day of the Dead vocabulary, you can introduce your students to the world-famous festival! Divide your class into small groups and let them study and test each other on the vocabulary to familiarise themselves with the topic. Spot the Error Listening:
In this activity, students are given an audio recording and a transcription of that recording. Simultaneously listening and reading, students should spot the errors in the transcript and correct them in the spaces provided.

Following the Edexcel GCSE’s new reading aloud task, we have created a resource based on the Day of the Dead. In pairs, your students can read aloud the short text, looking out for pronunciation errors and fluidity. Then, their partner will ask them the thematic questions underneath.
