For 2025, the theme, “AI and Education: Transforming Learning for the Future,” highlights the revolutionary potential of artificial intelligence in reshaping educational landscapes across the globe. As we celebrate the International Day of Education, the global theme invites us to explore how human agency thrives in an AI-driven world. At Languagenut, we experience this first hand, supporting language learners in 44 languages with tools that combine cutting-edge AI and human connection.

What we’re doing with AI at Languagnut
AI Chat
Languagenut’s AI Chat sits in our Vocabulary Trainer and encourages students to use the words that they have been leaning at a sentence level.
As you can see, once students have used a specific word or phrase in a new sentence, our AI Chat provides them with feedback on their sentence, including any corrections and suggestions for improvement.
AI Custom Content
We recognise that AI can be used both to enhance student learning experiences and to save teachers time when it comes to planning lessons and creating content to use with students. This is why we have added an AI feature to our Custom Content area.
In our Sentence Building with AI, teachers can provide a prompt, as well as a difficulty level and number of sentences. These will then be generated automatically for teachers to then review and make changes where necessary.
Coming Soon: AI Tutor for Conversation
Our next AI addition will be a conversation tool for students to use to build their speaking skills in real world scenarios.
Students will be able to choose a topic or a scenario, such as “Ordering food at a restaurant”, and will then have a conversation with the computer about this, before receiving feedback on their performance!
